Mary Holm is the author of seven books, including Rich Enough? A laid-back guide for every Kiwi which was a #1 bestseller. She is also an award-winning columnist and a seminar presenter, and she discusses personal finance issues with Jesse Mulligan on RNZ every second Thursday. As well as the Weekend Herald column, for 16 years she wrote The Investor column, which ran in the Dominion Post, Christchurch Press, Waikato Times and other newspapers.
Mary was awarded the ONZM for services to financial literary education. . She holds a BA in economic history. MA in journalism, and MBA in finance (University of Chicago, where she was taught by Nobel Laureate Merton Miller and graduated in the top 15 percent).
Mary is also a director of Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL). She lives by the sea near Auckland.
